Asian markets reached 5 year highs overnight led by Japan after the BOJ maintained their monetary expansion policies. In corporate news, Sony rose almost 8% on reports that the company may be about to spin off it's entertainment business.

In Europe, equity futures are unchanged to slightly lower after a number of indices closed at multi year or all time highs. The BOE will release minutes from the last policy meeting and Eurozone current balance data.

In the US, markets closed higher again but off session highs after comments from the Fed's Bullard suggested the US may maintain it's existing bond buying program to aid growth. Today we have new home sales, but more importantly FOMC minutes and Bernanke's testimony to congress.
