Asian markets are slightly lower this morning, with China's Shanghai Composite the main loser down over 1%. Elsewhere, Japan's finance minister has dismissed the idea of buying foreign bonds and as a result the Yen is slightly firmer.

In Europe, today look out for Germany's ZEW economic sentiment and current situation datapoints. Futures are pointing to a slightly lower open with the Euro trading at 1.3340.

US markets are back open today having been closed for Presidents day yesterday, futures are little changed from Friday ahead and later today Dell will release earnings.
