Asian markets mixed this morning, with the Nikkei 0.5% lower but other bourses marginally higher. The Japanese Government cut their economic view for the first time in 10 months on risks of a further slowdown in the global economy. Chubu Electric Power fell over 8% after a broker downgrade, and China Southern Airlines fell over 6% after reporting an 85% drop in first half profit.
